(Introduction / Blog Opening)
Day One: A Record of Awakening
Iโm a middle-aged man living in South Korea.
Since I was young, books have always been close to me.
One day, I stumbled upon an old text on Baziโthe Four Pillars of Destinyโ
and from that moment on, I couldnโt stop thinking about life, people, and fate.
That was twenty years ago.
Looking back, itโs been a journey of healing.
To organize my thoughts and reflections,
I started writing on my Naver blog.
Over time, I wrote hundreds of posts, gained readers,
and that space gradually became like a personal libraryโ
a place where I could quietly store the traces of my inner world.
But one day,
a few of those posts were deleted without explanation.
My words, my thoughts,
simply disappearedโperhaps because someone didnโt like them.
It left me feeling low.
Because for me, writing is not just about languageโ
itโs about revealing myself.
Then, a friend introduced me to WordPressโ
and it felt like moving into a brand-new home.
Clean walls, open spaces, and the freedom to decorate it however I wanted.
So I made a decision:
I would start again in this new house.
To leave behind thoughts that wouldnโt be deleted,
To write without being swayed by someone else’s judgment.
This blog is called โA Mayflyโs Diary of a Brief Life.โ
Just like a mayfly lives only for a day,
our lives may be short,
but I believe thereโs meaning, emotion, and insight even in that fleeting time.
And I want to leave a record of it.
Bazi, the ancient philosophy of destiny,
will be at the heart of this blog.
But I wonโt treat it as a simple tool for predicting fate.
Here, youโll find philosophy,
questions about life,
and sometimes, just my ordinary days.
Youโll also find conversations with AI,
reflections on human existence,
and above allโa quiet confession:
that I am alive.
Day by day,
one post at a time,
I write to stack my thoughts, my days,
leaving traces behind.
This place is my personal libraryโ
a record of one soulโs journey through the second half of life.
Thank you for being here.
Andโฆ
Thank you for reading.
